AIESEC AND THE WORLD

Every time we go on Marketing Programmes we are faced with an easy yet hard question "what is AIESEC?" most people will agree with me that if that question is launched first at you there is always a huge hesitation now what is the most important thing in marketing?, is it the technical know-how and knowledge? or is it something else well i'm about to explore these question in a new dynamic way.

One of the key things i've learnt is body language, when going marketing please always try to read your audiences' body language it is very important it is the key identifier to know what he/she is thinking or his emotional stance that way if he is feeling moody we can quickly attenuate his feelings into delivering a partnership by making him/her feel better.

A good marketer will always have knowledge of his products and be impeccable in delivering that product either as a presentation or a chat so it is always important to have FULL knowledge of the product you want to sell be it employer branding or exchange. But lets not deviate into marketing that is not the issue the issue herein is the look up of AIESEC and the world, we have been proudly existing for over 62 years which is a testament of the awesome blend of unique talents who have heralded this organization what is more to note some of them are still alive today!!! in a globally competitive world we have strived to achieve or maintain our neutrality to a point but let me ask you a tricky question do you think that we should change our status quo? by that i mean if we are to be connected to life changing opportunites of a global dimension do you think we should partner with huge companies we know are capable of reaching out to communities at the risk of losing our neutrality remember by that we are unique from other student commiittees it is a difficult question which i have pondered for a long time now, i will be frank with you there is need to blend the two we can still remain neutral and still partner with more organizations what we really need is publicity for an organization that has existed for these long years people need to know that we have what it takes to develop students and that way when we mention AIESEC it will not sound like a foreign word because they will have heard of it through one of our major media outlets. PUBLICITY  is what we need what are you doing today to achieve that like we always say in the organization "its up to you".
